Oddly in March 2013 the Stoke view from the opposition saw criticisms of the questions.

This was the day it was decided that it would be the forum that would ask the questions.

This fellow sounds chronically depressed. It must be hard living in the Potteries

By the way, Is it possible to write the odd report now and then Mr Vin?

(Applauds response)

Most people think of Stoke as a boring mid table team - what would you say is needed to push on to the next level?

Peter: I don't think there is a boring mid table in the Premier League. Having witnessed League One and Championship football I think a reality check is sometimes required. Top Ten is as good as it gets for some clubs. In this day and age it takes luck with signings and a great deal of cash to move on to the next level.

A similar problem with Stoke in November 2012.

Nobody gave Vinny shit, they just said the bloke responding was a boring cunt. He is.

I will concede the responses depend somewhat on the questions though

Vinny

personally I think you do a great job both asking and finding the people to ask. The fact that we're incapable of giving witty questions is our own fault.

Surely (the rest of us on here) if we're going to get Vinny to do this then we've got to come up with questions that are both amusing and worthwhile. (Simply asking them why they're cunts doesn't really cut it). So it's over to us!

By the way Vinny, my question was a classic and you fucking ignored it! Just saying!

Thanks Vinny - always an interesting read, this column is. Good to have a different perspective.

Can't understand the stick Vinny gets - sometimes he picks my questions, sometimes he doesn't. But it's his column and so that's his prerogative.

I've just had a brief look back at the previous 7 "Questions for the opposition" threads and I can only find 1 suggestion from you for a question.

Which was this to the Man Utd supporters.
"As supporters of a club that has long been at the forefront of the corporatisation of the beautiful game in this country is there any line that you think should be crossed in abandoning the heart, soul and traditions of football in pursuit of glory, TV rights and global merchandising sales."

And you think these questions are dull?

Re: View From The Opposition - Stoke City
Ideally this question would have been asked first:

4th place finish or win the FA Cup?

Peter: It would have to be a 4th place finish, Champions League football at the Britannia really would be a dream come true.

That way I could have worked out he was an utter itter Twonk who should be ignored.
